Clean hotel in a new building next to a lot of bars around and super central to all the hot spots of NYC and great bars and restaurants in East Village and Soho.

I liked that the hotel was perfect and spotlessly clean. The roof top bar was lively with some good food.

Despite a few hiccups like extra charges and inconsistency in room cleaning, my stay at the hotel was overall enjoyable. the great rooftop and convenient location, along with the friendly and accommodating staff, made up for any shortcomings during my visit.

Top-class and amiable staff who were always there to help. 3rd Avenue tube station was 10 min away.

The rooms, though small, were efficiently designed and had a cool aesthetic. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. the alphabet bar on-site was a hidden gem, with a great atmosphere and delicious drinks. the location was perfect, being very close to the subway and various attractions, making it easy to explore the city.

One thing that could be improved is the check-in and check-out process. While the staff was doing their best, the lobby design and procedures could be more efficient to prevent overcrowding.

The sushi joints nearby are legit, from Cathedrale Restaurant to Kotobuki Manhattan. Tasty finds for days! Plus, the cool decor and prime location are spot-on. Cons: Mondays hit different with the rooftop bar closed - no bueno. Elevator blackout during checkout was a mood killer, and getting kicked out for a "private event" at 3 PM? C'mon now. Still, Paris was a gem, and the vibe stayed lit.

I recently stayed at Moxy in East Village for a weekend getaway. The room design was great and I loved the unique shower/toilet setup. The alphabet bar/lounge was a fantastic place to hang out, especially on Friday night when there was a DJ playing. The bartenders made excellent drinks and the staff were amazing. They even provided a free boxed breakfast, which was a delightful surprise. My kids absolutely loved the bunk bed room and the staff went above and beyond to help us whenever we needed anything. A+++ for their exceptional service!

We had an outstanding dinner at Cathedral, the best in a long time. the hotel's location is great and the micro hotel is very comfortable. the front desk staff, including Carmen, Maria, and a young light-haired gentleman with a nicely groomed beard, were always helpful and knowledgeable. the rooms, while small, were well-equipped, efficiently laid out, and quiet. the beds were very comfy, and we got great sleep. the energetic yet low-key vibe was awesome, and we enjoyed spending time in the cool lounge, playing free skee-ball and enjoying delicious pastries and coffee. the cozy outdoor garden area was a nice touch. the availability of books from a Strand book cart and the option to take cassette tape or record players to our room for listening pleasure was a unique and enjoyable feature. the Cathedrale restaurant also provided a great dinner experience. We took advantage of the hotel's workout room, which was well-equipped, and also made use of the Moxy's bikes to explore the city on the dedicated bike lanes. we had a fun and enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it to others.
